A Bit
About Me
I'm a Product designer at Johnson Controls, building security systems that have to work when it matters most — when hesitation has consequences and clarity isn't optional. Before that, I trained as an animator. That background never left. It just became the reason I care about composition, weight, and what a single design decision communicates before anyone reads a word.
I completed my M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction in 2021. Since then I've spent three years designing for users most briefs forget to picture — operators under pressure, people navigating systems that weren't built with them in mind. That's the work I find meaningful and the work I do best.
Outside the product, I show up for the design community the same way. I joined Kaikasen as a participant and stayed to help build it — facilitating workshops, giving talks, creating the infrastructure for designers at every stage to teach each other. I believe what Ko taught me: if you have knowledge, give it away. Your brain will find more.
